The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth sees the light of day on New 3DS and Wii U

The ultimate Roguelike The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is finally being released on New 3DS* and Wii U. The game, containing 4 BILLION different dungeons, is now available on Steam, PS4, PS Vita and the aforementioned platforms.

Of course the “4 billion different dungeons” have to be explained: The makers of the game have made it so, that every time you start a new game, the dungeon gets built up from an array of rooms. The way it’s built up is random, so are the enemies, bosses and items. When I once finished a dungeon, I had to beat a boss. I died, started a new game and could finish the newly generated (but in theme the same) dungeon without even passing a boss! This makes for a new experience every time you play.
